Hey, I'm Michael, a UX Designer at King (Microsoft) working on Candy Crush Saga's core gameplay.
I focus on interaction quality, player learning, and the systems that make the game feel effortless at scale. Alongside player-facing work, I design internal tools that help teams ship faster. Previously at Ubisoft, I transformed legacy titles into modern live service games.
I'm obsessed with game feel: the stuff that happens below conscious thought, what makes you want one more turn. I work end-to-end and prototype quickly to find what works.
Outside work, I build with AI and code: a weekly photography app inspired by Wordle and BeReal, experiments in diffusion-based film simulation, and tools built to solve problems I run into myself.
